Founded in 1985 by two brothers, Ciro and Antonello, Fratelli Urciuolo is dedicated to hand-crafting some the best wines in all of Campania. The previous 2 generations of the Urciuolo family were well-known for cultivating chestnut trees throughout the region, and gained notoriety for their unique knowledge of the local soils. It was this familiarity with regional terroirs that initially drove the Urciuolo family to explore planting vineyards in their native land. After Antonello returned home from studying winemaking at university, he and his brother decided to realize a dream of their father’s and produce wine under the family name.
